MASTER SUITE REMODEL IN CROWNSVILLE

We met Amy and Dave G through a local architect in Annapolis. They had a beautiful home in a Brownsville neighborhood that just didn’t fit quite fit their lifestyle. The master bath was too big, the closet was too small, and the bedroom felt like it was missing something, and they had their first child on the way!

The basic idea of this remodel was to “right size” the bathroom and reorganize it to fit their needs. They didn’t want the large Jacuzzi tub, but rather a nice, large shower. They also wanted a larger vanity with lots of storage and as well as an independent water closet. The original closet was converted to a vestibule/dressing area that allowed for a transition from the bedroom into the bath and closet areas. We then converted one of the bedrooms into the master closet area. Inside the actual bedroom, we installed a fireplace and built-ins for a TV and additional storage.

This was just the beginning for Amy and Dave. We have become good friends and have been back to their home many times to slowly transform it room by room. We often tease them that we are in their home doing projects more than we are in our own!
