We are not a faceless company that quickly moves your project down a production line. When a client hires TailorCraft Builders, they are hiring the actual builder. We are personally present at your project site overseeing every aspect of your home or remodeling project. We will not take on more projects than we can personally manage.

At TailorCraft Builders, we have your budget in mind as much as you do. From structuring your project around your budget to helping you make selections within your budget, we constantly review your design choices to ensure that your vision is being followed while costs are being controlled and potential design-to-construction mistakes are being avoided.

MEET THE BUILDERS

AaRON DRUMMOND

Aaron Drummond was raised in East Tennessee and Upstate New York, where he learned at an early age the meaning of character, hard work, and service to others. He discovered his passion for building at an early age: from tree houses, to smaller home projects, to learning the actual building trades as a teenager. He came from the tradition where “when you look someone in the eye, shake their hand, and tell them you are going to do something, then that is exactly what you do.” His passion for excellence and his belief in service to the nation helped him earn an appointment to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. There he honed his values of integrity, discipline, and attention to detail, earning a commission in the United States Marines Corps and later earned his MBA from Boston University. All of this formed the foundation of TailorCraft Builders and is reflected in how we conduct our business.
Aaron has been building and remodeling homes for ten years. He has built many award winning projects. “ I am truly blessed to have a wonderful family, live in a great community, and have a profession that I love.” Aaron’s wife Pamela works with him at TailorCraft Builders. They live in Severna Park, MD and have four daughters.

RICK DYSON

Rick Dyson is a native Baltimorean. Rick has spent his entire professional career in the home building industry. Starting as a simple laborer right out of high school, he has worked through the ranks and held every operational position there is. Over his forty or so years in the business, Rick has personally constructed thousands of homes of all styles. For good reason, he has earned the affectionate nickname as the “Yoda of Home Building”!
Rick’s eye for detail and love of the business makes him a special treat to work with on your project. He not only knows how to build anything you can dream of, he also is a very talented designer. He has drawn many of the houses we have built, to include his very own. Many of our projects are personally designed by Rick.

GIVING BACK

It is not enough to simply conduct business and live in a community, it is essential that you become part of that community. As such, giving back is part of the fabric of our very being. Given our strong connections to the military and the home building industry, it is a natural fit that TailorCraft Builders is a very proud supporter of two organizations that are dedicated to helping those who have helped all of us.

Prior to the start of TailorCraft Builders, Aaron was instrumental in the initial contact with Homes for Our Troops and built the very first home in the state of Maryland located in Pasadena.

We have also remodeled and reconstructed a home for the Kules Family in Severna Park. Ryan was severely injured in Iraq, and as a result needed his home modified. We worked with the Veterans Administration, the county, and other local craftsmen to completely remodel their family home.
